| Bio: | Luc Reid is an expert at making stuff up. In junior high school, he founded a secret society. In 2000, he helped found an intentional community. Most recently he started an improvisatory vocal group, where he stands around and makes up music with other vocalists. He's a past winner of the Writers of the Future Contest and the founder of the online neo-pro writers group Codex. His first book, Talk the Talk: The Slang of 65 American Subcultures was published last fall. Luc lives in Burlington, Vermont, and more about him, together with some free audio features, can be found at his Web sites, www.lucreid.com and www.subculturetalk.com. He contributes very short stories about things that could never happen to The Daily Cabal, whose members post one very brief story every weekday.
